What led you to become a Doula? When they asked back in grade school what I wanted to be when I grew up I answered, Cliff Huxtable. I loved the idea of taking care of women and babies and found myself on a career path doing just that in various clinical roles however it wasn’t until I became a mother I realized the impact and need of continuous judgment-free and informed care outside of prenatal visits and delivery and in that moment I decided to become a doula.
What is your favorite TV show or movie? Sweeney Todd, I’m a sucker for a musical or any Disney film
What is your favorite place to vacation? Anywhere tropical, the Bahamas, or Mexico thus far
What is your favorite food? Pizza, tacos, fries
What is your favorite way to spend a day off? On my days off you can catch me at a local thrift shop, doing hot yoga, eating ice cream, or at target. I enjoy spending time with my mom friends, having game nights, and an occasional glass of wine, popcorn, and Netflix
